WHAT IS IT?
The Coin Race is a PTA fundraiser where each grade competes to raise the highest amount of money, and students can win prizes!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Help Mario and friends collect money and race to the end of Rainbow Road by bringing coins or bills to your class jar every morning! Each class will have their own coin jug for collecting money for their grade. Containers will be set up in the gym for each grade level. Don’t have change and want to donate online instead? WHY PARTICIPATE?
Along with the students winning prizes for this event, funds raised will go toward the many great events and activities for Westmore students and staff.
Prizes for the Students
Level 1: Each grade that reaches 45,000 points gets a lollipop party.
Level 2: The grade with the most points by the end of the week gets a pajama and donut party.
Level 3: If the school reaches it’s goal of 250,000 points, everyone will receive extra recess for Mario Day Observed on March 11!
Point Values
Penny = 1 point
Nickel = 5 points
Dime = 10 points
Quarter = 25 points
$1 Bill = 100 points
$5 Bill = 500 points
$10 Bill = 1,000 points
